I should have never bought.

I should have never bought my pair of Burtons twenty pounds daps. I bought them mainly for the aesthetic appeal and relatively cheap price. However after around 2 or 3 uses of the product I found that they were incredibly uncomfortable and had already started to fall apart. I believe that the product should have been tested more thoroughly when in manufacture, as this company has quite blaintantly focused on aesthetics and forgot about how the shoes will perform when in every day use. The soles of the shoes do not protect the feet in any way due to the thickness of the soles. They should be considerably thicker to help smooth out and take the bumps of the pavements that all people who buy these shoes will walk upon.
I also think this problem is the reason for the very disappointing quality of the shoes. After 3 wears the bottoms have already worn away and the seam where the parts of leather and the rubber of the soles meet have already come apart in places and have started to fray. This is very disappointing in a product that is guaranteed to be of a high standard. I always think of this company as it guarantees high standards but with this product I was disappointed and will in the future re-consider buying shoes from this company and most probably move onto another company that can offer me better quality at around the same price.
